Rey Resources Limited is principally engaged in exploring for and developing energy resources in Western Australia's Canning and Perth Basins. The Company operates in two segments, which include mineral exploration and development, and petroleum exploration. The Company holds coal exploration assets in petroleum permits EP457 and 458 in joint venture with Buru Energy Limited. The Company also holds interests in Mitsubishi Corporation (Derby Block EP487) and petroleum exploration permit EP437. The Company holds interest in Exploration Permits EP457 and EP458 (the Fitzroy Blocks). The Fitzroy Blocks are located in the Canning Basin in the northwest of Western Australia. The Company's thermal coal tenements are located in the Fitzroy Trough of the Canning Basin, north Western Australia.
