XRF Scientific Limited is an Australia-based company, which is engaged in the business of manufacturing and marketing precious metal products, specialized chemicals and instruments for the scientific, analytical and mining industries. The Company operates through three segments: Capital Equipment, Precious Metals and Consumables. The Capital Equipment segment designs, manufactures and services organization, specializing in automated fusion equipment, high temperature test and production furnaces, as well as general laboratory equipment. The Precious Metals segment manufactures products for the laboratory and platinum alloy markets. The Consumables segment produces and distributes consumables, chemicals and other supplies for analytical laboratories. Its products include fusion equipment, flux, platinum labware, precision products and lab equipment. Its fusion equipment includes electric fusion machines and gas fusion machines. Its flux products include fusion flux and flux weighing.
