Buru Energy Limited   Description

Buru Energy Limited is an Australia-based oil and gas exploration and production company. The Company is engaged in the oil and gas exploration and production in the Canning Basin in the northwest of Western Australia. The Company operates through three segments: Oil, Gas and Exploration. The Canning Basin has an area of approximately 530,000 square kilometers. The Oil segment includes the development and production of the Ungani conventional oilfield, which is located in exploration permit EP 391 in the onshore Canning Superbasin. The Gas segment is engaged in the exploration of gas concentrated in the Valhalla, Asgard and Yulleroo areas, where gas is intersected in the Laurel Formation. The Exploration segment focuses on prospects in the Ungani oil trend and evaluation of the other areas in the Company's portfolio. The Company completed the first phase of its Tight Gas Stimulation (TGS) program at the Asgard 1 and Valhalla North 1 wells in the Canning Basin.
