Orpheus Uranium Limited, through its subsidiaries, operates as a mineral exploration and development company in Zambia and Australia. It primarily explores for uranium, copper, gold, nickel, iron oxide, lithium, zinc, and cobalt deposits. The company holds 100% interest in the Frome project located in the Frome Embayment of South Australia; the Mundaerno project located in the Southern Curnamona Province of South Australia; and the Radium Hill South prospect located near the historic Radium Hill Uranium Field in South Australia. It also holds 100% interest in the Marree project located in the Marree region of South Australia; the Cummins project located near the northwest of Port Lincoln on the Lower Eyre Peninsula of South Australia; and the Mount Douglas project located near the east of the township of Adelaide River. In addition, the company holds 100% interest in the Murdie project located near the eastern margin of the Gawler Craton, South Australia; the Torrens project located in South Australia; the Kroombit project located in Queensland; and the Aroona project located in Southern Willouran Ranges, South Australia. Further, it holds 80% interest in the Higginsville project located in Western Australia; and 90% interests in the Lumwana West, Kamapanda, Kalaba East, and Musangila projects located in Zambia. The company was formerly known as Argonaut Resources NL and changed its name to Orpheus Uranium Limited in February 2024. Orpheus Uranium Limited was incorporated in 1985 and is based in Unley, Australia.
