Danakali Limited, formerly South Boulder Mines Limited, is engaged in the exploration and evaluation of mineral resources. The Company is involved in the development of Colluli Potash Project in Eritrea. It operates through the exploration of minerals in Eritrea segment. Its Colluli Potash Project is located in the Danakil region of Eritrea, East Africa. Its Colluli Potash Project is located approximately 180 kilometers south-east of the capital, Asmara and over 180 kilometers from the port of Massawa. The Colluli Potash resource consists of over three potassium bearing salts, such as sylvinite, carnallitite and kainitite. The Colluli Potash project consists of over 1.3 billion tons of potassium bearing salts used for the production of potash fertilizers and approximately 350 million tons of rock salt. Its potassium bearing salts produces a range of potash types, including muriate of potash (MOP), sulfide of potash (SOP) and sulfide of potash magnesia (SOP-M).
