Armour Energy Limited is involved in exploration for economically viable reserves of both conventional and unconventional gas and associated liquids in the Northern Territory, Queensland and in the onshore Gippsland basin in Victoria in joint venture with Lakes Oil NL. The Company holds ownership of a strategic tenure position in northern Australia, covering approximately 33 million contiguous acres in the Northern Territory and Queensland. The Company is focused on the exploration of the McArthur, South Nicholson and Georgina Basins in the Northern Territory and Queensland. The Company has been granted ATP1087 and is preferred tenderer on ATP1107 in North West Queensland. The tenements cover approximately 3.6 million acres and encompass the south Nicholson Basin and underlying Isa Super basin. It also holds EP171, EP176, EP174 and EP190, which is a footprint of approximately 29.4 million acres and covers the McArthur, South Nicholson and Georgina Basins.
