Life360, Inc. is a United States-based company, which makes a free mobile app that allows families to share their locations and activities with each other in a secure private network and get emergency assistance and other premium services for a monthly fee. It features Circles, which enable users to set up separate groups for family, friends, babysitters and others with separate privacy controls for each circle, as well add Places, which allows users to designate their favorite locations and receive automatic alerts when family members arrive. The Company uses global positioning system (GPS) technology, and user’s maps and chat channels are built with bank-level security. User’s locations and conversations will always be private, available only to people user invites. The company was formerly known as LReady, Inc. and changed its name to Life360, Inc. in October 2011. Life360, Inc. was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
