Atlas Pearls and Perfumes Limited (Atlas) is engaged in pearling and perfume business. The Company is engaged in the production of South Sea Pearls, with farming operations throughout Indonesia, and retail stores in Perth and Bali. Its segments include Wholesale Loose Pearl, Jewellery, Essential Oils and All other segments. It has an approximately 50% interest in Essential Oils of Tasmania, which is engaged in providing essential oils, pearl shell by-products and perfumes to local and international markets. It is a producer of silver and white South Sea pearls. It is developing a range of products, which include pearl powder (cosmetics and nutraceuticals), pearl proteins (cosmetics), pearl volatiles and boronia (perfumes) for supply into the global luxury supply chain. It is also involved in the extraction of bioactive ingredients for the medical and chemical industries. Atlas operates pearl farms spread across the Indonesian archipelago, including Bali, Flores and West Papua.
