BPH Energy Limited is engaged in investments in biotechnology entities and an oil and gas exploration entity. The Company's principal activities include Molecular Discovery Systems (MD Systems), HLS5 Project, Cortical Dynamics, Diagnostic Array Systems (DAS) and Advent Energy Limited. MD Systems a class of anti-mitotic drugs, which has undergone preclinical testing of anti-cancer activity. MD Systems is working with the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research to validate HLS5 as a tumor suppressor gene. Cortical Dynamics is working with BPH Energy and Swinburne University of Technology to commercialize anesthesia monitoring system for use during surgery. DAS is working with it to commercialize BacTrak, a diagnostic tool to enable pathology laboratories and emergency departments of hospitals to provide patients with identification of disease causing bacteria from a single sputum sample. Advent Energy Limited has its project in Petroleum Exploration Permit 11.
