MFF Capital Investments Ltd, formerly Magellan Flagship Fund Ltd, is engaged in the investment in a minimum of approximately 20 exchange listed international and Australian companies. Its primary objective in managing capital and investments is to seek to maximize compound after tax returns for shareholders by identifying and investing in an investment portfolio of listed international and Australian companies, predominantly those which are assessed to have attractive business characteristics, at a discount to their assessed intrinsic values, while seeking to minimize the risk of permanent capital loss. Its portfolio includes financial institutions, such as credit providing institutions and transaction processors (which are not lenders). It may invest in companies operating in any industry or industry segment, including food and beverage producers; retailers; personal and household goods; support services; ports, toll roads and vital infrastructure, and monopoly and duopoly systems.
