Westgold Resources Limited is engaged in exploration for minerals. The Company’s focus is on development and production from its projects, the Central Murchison Gold Project (CMGP) in Western Australia and the Rover Project in the Northern Territory, which contain a combined 3.92 million ounce Gold Equivalent Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC) resource base. The projects are located within two geological provinces that have historical combined production in excess of 10 million ounces of gold. The CMGP is located south of Cue in Western Australia where the Company holds 313 kilometer square of predominantly granted mining tenements. The Rover Project consists of 1,172 square kilometres of contiguous granted tenements. In October 2012, Metals X Ltd merged with the Company.
