Imugene Limited is an immuno-oncology focused biopharmaceutical company. HER-Vaxx is a cancer immunotherapy designed to treat tumors that over-express the HER-2/neu receptor, such as gastric, breast, ovarian, lung and pancreatic cancers. HER-Vaxx has completed a Phase I clinical trial with over 10 HER-2 positive patients with metastatic breast cancer. It was shown in pre-clinical studies and in one Phase 1 study to stimulate a potent polyclonal antibody response to HER-2/neu. HER-Vaxx has stimulated the production of HER-2 antibodies in early-stage cancer patients enrolled in the initial clinical trial. The Company is also developing mimotope-based immunotherapies against validated and oncology targets.
